- Places is a leading journal of contemporary architecture, landscape, and urbanism. They publish essays, criticism, photography, and narrative journalism, as well as peer-reviewed scholarship that deserves a wide audience.

- Most complex content migration to date, hundreds of articles and their meta- and taxonomy-data had to be re-formatted, cleaned, and inserted into their new CMS homes.
- This was a huge project with a great deal of attention paid to UI and UX interactions to produce a fitting home for the Places Journal's content, both old and new.

- Vestar is a nationally recognized leader in the acquisition, management and development of commercial real estate. In addition to Desert Ridge and Tempe Town Marketplace, they manage a significant share in the Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Diego metropolitan markets.

- Custom-built a bespoke theme for the network of 8 of Vestar's power center properties. The theme was broadly customizeable, allowing for the properties to achieve their own look and feel while maintaining cohesiveness with eachother.
- Enabled a much stronger focus on several key business initiatives of Vestar's, including showcasing sales and spreading the word about upcoming events on social media.

- Per client requirements, provisioned an AWS Ubuntu server from scratch for hosting.
- Carrierwave and Sidekiq for background uploading of user files to S3.
- jQuery-File-Upload integration with Carrierwave for seamless user uploading of photos and video, even back to IE8.
- Custom validators, policy objects and uploaders were leveraged to achieve functionality.

- The key piece of this site's success involved a mass data migration of 600+ listings from a MS Access database that was the core of the legacy coldfusion site. Using Python, I built an automated, phased migration toolkit that facilitated data cleansing and proper stratification into it's new wordpress home.
- The site also sports a deep MLS/IDX search integration, as well as the ability to generate formatted, printable flyers of listings on demand.

- University of Phoenix commissioned this web application to augment their "Hall of Success" outreach campaign. The site allows users to 1) choose an antique frame, 2) upload a photo or capture one with their webcam, 3) position and crop the photo, and 4) provide their contact info. The site composes the frame and submitted photo into a portrait for sharing and download.
